‘Guided’ Bird Watching and Nature Talks (hosted by AFS)

Special Event
ROOM: Peppermill, North Entrance
A completely free and easy way for conference participants to stretch their legs and get outside, we have scheduled a series of three walks October 1, 2, and 3 from 12:15-1:15, meeting at the north entrance to the Peppermill and proceeding to do a loop around Virginia Lake to do some bird watching and nature talking. They will all be ‘guided’ by Ben Sonnenberg, a PhD student in UNR’s Cognitive Ecology lab who works on Mountain Chickadee behavior.
